Structural and geotechnical design of works belonging to the Ausa collector of Rimini for the treatment of waste water of rain origin, the design has in particular concerned the construction of underground tanks on state-owned land located in the Piazzale Medaglie D’Oro in Rimini and other works of a smaller size. The support works create 3 containment tanks and other structures all underground. The maximum dimensions of the underground structure are 92 m by 25 m. Inside which there are 3 tanks of which 2 are cylindrical with an internal radius of 6.25 m and a rectangular one with internal net plan dimensions equal to 50 m x 14 m for approximately 10 m of depth. The support works for all the tanks are continuous diaphragm bulkheads, made up of reinforced concrete panels cast in place.
